    The certificate is dated
    February 6, 1864. The company was incorporated in Pennsylvania.
    The company
    took the old Sunbury road that was hardly a road but barely passable on horseback and and converted it into serviceable road between Reading and Sunbury PA. The History of Schuylkill County PA, which is available online through Google books gives a good history of the road.
