Description:
This is for a One New Hand Lay Up Fiberglass Corvette Front Bumper Cover -  Stock replacement version GM# 14007081 , fits C3 Corvette Model Years:  1980 1981 1982
TruFlex Bumpers are constructed of fiberglass and a revolutionary new resin making them 70% more flexible than standard fiberglass bumpers.
These are Second Quality - There are No Returns on Seconds - They can have chips, nicks, voids, cracks, and sometimes low spots and 'may' require more body work to achieve fit to the body, however these provide to you a 50% savings over the 1st quality parts.  Any questions regarding this item please message us.
Fiberglass Bumpers are solid and therefore need to be fitted to the body.  Sanding and filling the bumper, and in some cases the body, will result in perfectly matched lines between the bumper and the body.
Unlike the original Urethane flexible fascia bumper covers, Fiberglass bumpers do not have the ability to absorb even minor impacts without breaking the surface.
All fiberglass replacement parts are considered "collision parts" and should be fit to the car before final finishing.
It is normal for these parts to have small chips, scratches, and minor cracks when received.
This is considered to be normal and is not a reason for parts return request or replacement.
***Very Important - this item is Oversized.  It cannot ship via UPS - it must ship Freight to a commercial business address and that commercial address must be identified as such by the U.S. Postmaster.
Residential deliver surcharges are 0 - 0 and the buyer will be responsible for this cost if a commercial address is not supplied.  BTW - this is no different from any other supplier of oversized parts, read the fine print.
Also - this item can be picked up locally to avoid the Truck Freight cost - we highly suggest you consider this option - note these won't fit in a small to mid size car either, pickups can be rented...
Note: There is a 'Oversize' box charge,  unlike those that hide this cost and then the price of the part is higher when you go to check out...
Our
box charge is included in the fixed shipping cost that can be avoided when you pick up locally.

. These truck freight shipments come in a large semi trailer, usually on a 4' X 4' pallet and will require a fork lift or dock. We can deliver and hold them at a UPS Truck Freight Terminal in a metro area close to you.
