Antique wood lap desk with painted top which resembles marquetry. The design reminds me of a chapel/church floor.
Desk is lined in purple velvet and has compartments for supplies. Key is missing.
11 1/2” long x 7 1/2” wide x 3 1/4” high
Condition: some wear with a few nicks to the top, some faint water splotches on one side (could probably be removed by polishing), might be a small circular repair on side of box (see photo), wear to the velvet, normal darkening to interior wood
