This listing is for a
specialty unlocking service
for
all 2006 through 2017 model years
of
Apple MacBook
,
MacBook Pro
, and
MacBook Air
laptop/notebook computers; also
2006-2017 Mac mini
desktop computers.

This service covers unlocking the EFI/Firmware password so that "Find My Mac" is no longer enabled and so there is no longer any passcode or password required to access internet recovery, boot from another volume, reset PRAM/NVRAM, boot into safe mode, boot into single user mode, or any other functions that an EFI/Firmware locked MacBook is unable to perform in its locked state.

If your Mac is unable to be unlocked
, due to liquid/water damage, or any other limitations or damage, I will discuss further options with you to move forward, but if we decide that this service will not work for your Mac,
I will return your Mac to you and I will refund your purchase price minus for shipping/insurance/tracking/handling

you will cover the cost of securely packaging and shipping your Mac to me
. Be sure to
package your Mac carefully so it isn't damaged during transit
. If you aren't sure, you can have FedEx or UPS package it for you. I always add insurance to my shipments, and I encourage you to do the same when you ship your Mac to me.
Once I receive your order and you have paid in full, I will send you my shipping address
through eBay messages.

for me to complete this service and ship your Mac
back to you.
NOTE 1:
10 Business Day Turnaround Time
starts the day you ship your Mac to me, and ends when it is
delivered (or 1st attempted) back to you.
MAY TAKE LESS TIME to complete/ship back,

eBay has dinged my account in the past for not shipping laptops back before i even received them in the first place

such as an MDM (mobile device management) or DEP (device employment program) lock (in addition to, or instead of, an EFI/Firmware lock),

Yes, I can bypass MDM/DEP locks as well, but it's a different process and I'll need you to answer a couple basic questions. Also there would be a
separate charge for bypassing an MDM/DEP lock if you have both MDM/DEP and EFI/Firmware locks enabled
on your Mac (not very common, but it does happen).
