Great tan colors on this leg bone end. This fossil measures just under 3”X1”X1/2”. No Restorations
All my fossils are personal finds from west central Florida. This leg bone was found in Northeast Manatee Country.
This fossil is between 3 and 10 Million years old.

What is Bone Valley?
Bone Valley is a geologic formation in west central Florida. More specifically, the upper layer of the Peace River formation. Fossils from this area are well known for their unique tan-brown colors and are often very well preserved due to sediment they are encased in. Not all fossils from Bone Valley are tan-brown. I’ve found a variety of colors including pure white, black, grey, tan , brown, and some with blue hues.
