Disney Mickey & Minnie Valentine Pewter Figurine. Mickey & Minnie Mouse Be My Valentine (1994) figurine pictured. This figurine is made of fine pewter by the Hudson Co.. This piece is delicately detailed & sparingly painted to highlight detailing & bring the piece to life. This piece is of Mickey & Minnie each leaning forward to share a Valentine's kiss. Painting on this piece includes the black of their head & ears, the pink & red flowers Mickey holds behind his back with a red bow around them, the pink bow in Minnie's hair & on her shoes & the red bow around the present she hides behind her back. Mickey & Minnie are standing on a large heart, trimmed with an etched lace design & reading BE MY VALENTINE 1994. The detailing on this piece, as with all Hudson Pewter pieces, is exquisite! Each flower in Mickey's bouquet has 4 petals & you can even see the ruffles on Minnie's petticoat. This piece measures approx. 1 3/4" high, 3" across, 2 1/2" deep & weighs less than 12 oz.. The bottom of this piece is stamped Hudson (c) Disney fine pewter USA AP16.
One figurine is numbered #451 & the other is #287. This sale is only for 1 of these figurines.
