Full Shino Kote: This armor protects your outer hand, forearms, elbow, and upper arm.
Full kote make extensive use of chainmail to ensure as much movement as possible while also providing significant protection.
This is a late Edo period (1750-1868)  5 Plate Shino Kote, which  is a mix of the 3-plate and 7-plate designs that provides more stress resistance than the 7 plate and better mobility than the 3 plate.
Obtained from a private collection in Japan, the condition is understandably fair. Please be sure to handle it carefully once you obtain it
