Elegant Hand Turned Minimalist African Blackwood Bowl -- Steve Noggle !

This incredibly elegant bowl is hand-turned by the talented Steve Noggle!  It is made of African blackwood, which is the very hard and black wood that is used to make flutes and oboes!   Very rare.  A celebration of understated minimalism!
The grain is rich and lustrous.  Hand-rubbed finish.  This bowl was purchased directly from Steve Noggle at an art fair in Florida around approximately 2010.
This bowl measures approximately 5.25" x 1.5" and it weighs 5.1 ounces.
Photographs show the bowl itself -- hard to photograph because it is so black.  Other photographs featured here show views onto Steve Noggle's current web page which as you can see does not offer any bowl similar to this -- still very rare wood.
