Figured Wild Cherry Bowl - Nice! 6.5" x 3.5" ~ Dovecote Woodworking ~ (219)

Description

Turned from wild Cherry wood from western Oregon.  Really nice warm colors and some sunburst figuring on one side, along with some cool dark mineral streaking. It does have a couple of checks that i filled with epoxy, they are fairly small and towards the bottom of bowl.
It looks like a big jack-o-lantern face on one side on picture #4.  Totally cool right?? I thought so!
Sanded to 600 grit and finished with 3 coats of wipe on polyurethane, for added protection and a nice satin shine.
I took pics with and without flash.  The ones that are more reddish colored are taken without flash.
Dimensions:  6 1/4" diameter.  3 1/2" tall.
12 ounces total weight.
