Description

Live edge Apple wood bowl salvaged from the riverside forest fire near Estacada Oregon.  This was a very old orchard tree with lots of holes in the bark from woodpeckers.  The bark looks really nice being burned from the fire, I was surprised it stayed on!  Nice curly figure in the wood too!  Very pretty little bowl, lots of character.
It is 6 1/4" diameter and 2 1/2" tall.
Weighs 5 ounces.
I used a durable clear gloss polyurethane for the finish, it holds up extremely well over time and looks and feels great!  Has a nice shine too.
I take a lot of pride in my work, and no shortcuts are taken in any part of the creation process.  Signed and dated on the bottom.
Hand made at our family shop, Dovecote Woodworking in Estacada Oregon.
