Flat-Sided Black Locust Bowl Handturned on a Farm in Indiana

This beautiful black locust bowl was turned at our shop in Indiana.  We were very pleasantly surprised at the color and grain that came to light as we worked the wood.  (We were also laughing because we threw so much black locust in our fireplace over the years!)  This bowl is approximately 3" tall by 6" wide, so it can be a practical addition to your home for storing smaller items or display. The flat side on this bowl brings extra interest that you won't see on many others.  Although the bowl is foodsafe, please remember that it is not dishwasher or microwave safe.
