We are a father and daughter team. We cut the wood from dead, diseased, or fallen trees on our land. Or our friends land. We stack and season our wood, and cut into blanks. My daughter is as hands on as I am in felling trees, cutting logs, splitting wood and loading/stacking.
All of our bowls are naturally harvested woods, and not cut down for profit. This is a hobby that was passed down from my father to me, that I’m passing on to my daughter.
Your support goes to buying new tools, machinery, expanding our small hobby business, getting better and more proficient in bowl turning, and being able to pass down what was taught to me, to my only daughter/child. To clean; wipe out with a damp towel sprayed with a non abrasive antibacterial cleaner. No bleach products. Do not put liquids in any wooden bowls. Not dishwasher safe. Do not soak in the kitchen sink. Do not hand wash, immersed in water. Recommend a damp soft hand towel. Let air dry.
Every 6 months to a year; depending on use, re-apply a thin coat of butcher block oil or beeswax to the bowl to maintain shine and food safe protection.
My bowls are hand turned, no two bowls are alike, each are hand signed, dated, and shipped via USPS. If you have any questions, please message me and I will be glad to answer them.
