Hand Turned Footed Cherry Wood Bowl 6” D Carved - Signed & Dated

Description

Hand turned footed Cherry wood bowl.  The piece is 4-1/2" tall and 6" wide.  The piece is signed on the bottom "TLH 12-26-06 Wild Cherry".
As with all hand carved wood items this piece has unique characteristics, like the beautiful wood grain and the variety of color in the Cherry.  There is an opening towards the bottom of the bowl that may have been a knot?  The opening measures approximately 1-1/2" wide x 1/2" tall.  To me this flaw in the piece is what makes it interesting.  Please see the photos.
