Up for sale is this hand turned Ancient Rome influenced English Walnut raised rim bowl.  This great piece was created in North Carolina by local woodturner / artist J.Vincent.  The bowl was inspired by Roman pottery pieces viewed in Museums.  The texture and copper gilding on the wood is
reminiscent
of decorated pieces I have seen in museums
featuring
Greek and Roman artifacts.  Please zoom the pictures to see the intricate detail on the rim and underside.
