    Up for sale is this hand turned Ancient Greek influenced Maple & Sycamore lidded bowl.  This great piece was created in North Carolina by local woodturner / artist J.Vincent.  The bowl was inspired by Greek pottery pieces viewed in Museums.  This closed form lidded bowl has been Scorched, Colored, Textured and Gilded to be
    reminiscent
    of pottery I have seen in museums
    featuring
    Greek and Roman artifacts.  Please zoom the pictures to see the intricate detail on the rim and underside.
