Handmade wooden rustic bread box

Description

Handmade wooden bread box, painted with chalk paint, sealed with water based laquer for the interior and wax for the exterior.
I chosed wax because it suits me better than laquer for it's beautifull effects that the wood can get by working with it.
The infinite choises of colours/shadows/effects make it impossible for me to repeat a design.
The item gets life through the process and the whole idea develops step by step.
The Japanese cherry gets both simplicity and style making it more than a beautiful rustic peace of wood work.
The entire box is smiling discretely to it's observer.
If it had a name, I would call it Little Blossomed Lady Box!
