    Description

    Vintage teapot designed by Edith Heath in the late 1940s for her Sausalito, California based firm Heath Ceramics. This teapot is in near perfect condition. It doesn't have tea stains inside so I believe it was hardly used. The copper handle with vinyl wrapping detaches for cleaning. The vinyl has a slight stickiness that is probably due to age but it is not significant and in fact adds to the grip. The glaze is glossy rose pink. The style is midcentury modern with elements of streamline. This teapot has gone in and out of production but I believe it has been a long time since this particular color has been produced.
