EASY TO TRANSFER – Use a heat press machine or an iron to easily transfer the design onto your garment. Grid markings help to precisely cut and position the heat transfer paper design.
Handy Crafts Inkjet Heat Transfer Paper for light fabric is fun and easy to work with. Just follow these instructions to make your garments come to life!
1) Create a mirror image of your design and print it on the clear side of the heat transfer paper (opposite the side with the grid markings) using an inkjet printer and let dry for a couple of hours.
Note: It's a good idea to test printing the design on a regular piece of paper first to see if it looks as intended.
2) Cut out the design from the rest of the paper.
3) Iron or heat press the receiving prewashed garment to get rid of any moisture and wrinkles.
Note: It's best to use garments that have already been washed and dried so they don't shrink and distort the design after washing.
4) Place the design facing down on the garment (the side with grid markings is facing toward you).
5) Iron on hottest setting or heat press at 355F (180C) using medium to high pressure for 30 - 60 seconds. Do not use steam.
6) Remove iron or heat press and let design cool for a few minutes to room temperature.
7) Peel off the paper from the shirt.
8) Enjoy your new design!
*Wait at least 24 hours before first wash. Wash cold inside out and hang dry.
