Rare Japanese antique an iron tessen (fan for military leader).
Kabutowari of sense(fan) type - helmet splitting
Tessen (iron-ribbed fans) is used for battle. Used for kobujutsu (old martial art).
Receiving the sword. dividing the sword or Kabuto.

The shape of an unfolded Sensu fan is known as 'Suehiro' in Japanese, and has been considered lucky.
