Rare Japanese antiques 2 hanging scroll with marked. / Soufuku Kakejiku. Flag design when hung.
Marked : 秦嵩香 (Shinshuka).

Painting : 源義経 (牛若丸)/ MINAMOTO no Yoshitsune (Ushiwaka maru) & 武蔵野 弁慶(Musashino Benkei)
Benkei and Ushiwakamaru (Minamoto no Yoshitsune) were military commanders who lived at the end of the Heian period.
After the death of the two, he became a figure admired by many samurai warriors. Although Benkei is a monk, he does not accumulate scholarship or merit, and is a destructive monk who wields a heavyweight naginata. Ushiwakamaru (Yoshitsune Minamoto) is a handsome and delicate trickster who repels the strong with his superhuman physical abilities. Benkei fought with Yoshitsune and lost, surrendered, admired his strength and became his subordinate.
