    Description

    Loetz Crete Papillon 10" Vase, Bohemian Art Noveau Glass. This beautiful antique vase was hand blown between 1850-1920 in what is now the Czech Republic.  Which then was part of the Austrian empire. The name crete refers to the color green and papillon refers to the oil process used to create the pattern. The vase is in mint condition no chips or cracks. A very noticeable pontil on the base.  You might also notice some water drops in the pictures from a recent rinse. The vase is stunning showing off it's iridescence depending on how the light hits it.
    The vase stands 9 3/4" tall 6" wide and weighs 1 lb 1.6oz
