Description
For your consideration are 2 dolls dressed to represent 2 different Balkan countries, Estonia and Latvia. These were made by Madame Alexander in 1986 and 1987. Their colorful dresses are beautiful. Please see pictures. Undergarments are perfect with all elastic tight and unstretched.
Their hair, make-up and clothes are all perfect Alexander. Eyes toggle very well. Neck and shoulder joints are all strong. Hip joints are looser compared to arms, but they are stable and dolls can both stand up wothout any metal doll stands.
The boxes, pink tissues, neck braces and hang tags are all in excellent condition. The name and number of the doll on the box labels are clear and readable. The boxes are folded. I will ship that way to save postage. Regular stands are included.
These dolls are on auction from the stunning collection of my daughter, an avid Alexander collector from an early age who has had to downsize subsequent to moving. They were carefully stored in a smoke and pet free home. These dolls are now 35 years old and getting harder to find. Please e-mail me with any questions prior to bidding. Thanks.
