    A fossil deer jaw,
    Leptomeryx evansi,
    from the Oligocene White River deposits of Converse County, Wyoming.
    The jaw is 2 and ¼” long containing 2 teeth.
    The specimen has been consolidated with glue and no restoration has been performed.
    Leptomeryx evansi
    (Family Leptomerycidae) stood about one foot tall at the shoulder and weighed seven pounds.
    Leptomeryx
    was an artiodactyl living the chevrotain lifestyle.
