Ollendorff's New Method of Learning to Read, Write, and Speak the Italian Language. Published in 1888 by D. Appleton and Company of New York. Additions and corrections by Felix Foresti, LL. D., Professor of the Italian language and literature in Columbia College and in the University of the City of New York.
Overall condition is good. Both the front and back covers have split away from the spine. Some of the material of the spine has come off. The pages are in excellent shape; all pages are tight to the binding. In the inside of the front cover and on the page opposite the title page, the original owner has inscribed his name, possibly his work position and address, and references the date (of purchase?) September 21, 1889. There are a few notes and translations within the actual text.
