Pacific Yew Small Vase - Hand Made! ~ Dovecote Woodworking ~ (263)

Description

Hand made on the lathe, turned from rare and beautiful Pacific Yew wood.  Really a pretty little vase with swirling grain and lots of little pippy knots!  Nice warm colors and some sapwood too.  All the little pin knots really add a lot of character to this one!
It is just about 4.25" tall, and 3" diameter. weighs 3 ounces.  The inside is hollowed and sanded to the same quality as the outside.  I sanded it up to 600 grit so it is silky smooth, and finished with Howards Feed N Wax (bees wax and orange oil)
