This is a very unique Pappocetus lugardi skull similar to a
Basilosaurus
skull but much rarer.  This creature was 20-25 feet in length and lived about 44 million years ago during the late Eocene time period.
This piece was found in Morocco, North Africa.
I am told by Professor G at Mich. St., he considers this the best specimen in the world for the species and theirs a handful in the world.
