Rarely offered primitive wolf from late Piocene to early Pleistocene, Longdan fauna, Gansu, China!
The Canis teilhardi (named after the famous French Paleontologist, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin) skull up for sale in here is a nicely preserved, huge skull with nearly all of the tooth preserved and fascinating coloration! The animal is the one of the earliest Canidae carnivores found in China, while the Canidae carnivores were once very diversified in Asia.
The lower jaw is measured around 16.1 cm/6.34 inches in length.
