This is a handmade reproduction of the original samurai weapon that was popular in Japan during the Warring States period more than 100 years ago.
During the Warring States period, only generals, finest military personnel, samurai, and emperors had the right to wear samurai armor. Each suit has its own power and status, the owner's soul, and Kai.
Such Japanese art can be found in movies, TV shows, museums, aristocratic homes (luxury clients), temples (Dojos), and Japanese restaurants around the world.
