Description

Handmade at our family shop, Dovecote Woodworking in Estacada Oregon.
Turned from wild Oregon Crab Apple.  This is reclaimed wood that i found from a dead tree.  Has nice light spalting and colors.  Apple is a very hard wood, and it distorts badly when drying.  This bowl was rough turned when green, and then set aside to dry for 6 months, then finish turned.
5 1/4" diameter, 1 5/8" tall.
Sanded to 400 grit. Finished with shellac, walnut oil, and hand buffed carnauba wax.
