From a very clean estate. I think the signature is CN '84.  The owner collected many wood carvings of all types. The couple enjoyed folk art and naive art from the 1980s.  He has been sitting on my fireplace mantel. A lightweight wood.  I think it is wood. Sure isn't resin or plastic. Pictured on my piano.
